Colour is largely responsible for creating the mood of a room - flooring is the second biggest area after your walls. You'll want your carpet to work with some of your existing key pieces. You may want to blend with the wall colour or to pick you a key colour in your curtains or your lounge.
Tips from the SP team:
Darker colours absorb light and can make a room appear smaller - this is ideal if you want to give a large room a cosy feel.
Lighter colours reflect the light and create a sense of spaciousness.
It is important that you try the samples in the space and see how the colour works in both daylight and artificial light against your key pieces.
Carpets will appear lighter on the floor when laid, compared to small samples.
Be aware that the colour of your walls, and the combination of natural and artificial light will also influence how the colour appears.
Let the SP team help you create the home of your dreams!
